Stock Investing Basics - Another Successful Edition

The latest edition of the Stock Investing Basics, a Seminar for Beginners last February 11, 2012 was attended by an interesting mix of novice investors and total beginners. This edition's attendees, ten in total, came from different companies such as Timex, Aboitiz and others, while some were self-employed. This edition is the first for 2012 and the fourth seminar class since this series started in June of 2011.

We believe that seminars like this should have reasonable registration rates and should offer good value to attendees by offering simple and practical knowledge on how to get started on stock trading. Beginners, after all need confidence more than anything to be able to succeed in stocks over the long term. Learning about stocks from the perspective of a total beginner helps them gain that initial confidence which they can build on to become better and more intelligent investors in the future.

Part of the discussions during the seminar involved how to follow a practical system of investing built on proven strategies such as averaging costs, proper stock selection, managing risk versus reward and simple diversification. These strategies are simple and easy to grasp. More importantly, they are proven to work.

It is no surprise then that feedback from the participants has been very positive while inquiries for the next schedules continue to stream in.
